My System Specs

Default HX850W

I got one of these recently and I want to know if people have any personal experience with this specific one beyond the reviews.

quality of build, sound compared to other things that are common (HDD sinning up, laptop on full cooling). generally what you think of it compared to other PSUs you have used.

Its a very good design and quality build.
Although having never used one I know the OEM that manufactures it and the quality is second to none. The only other one I would say that comes close is Enermax.
You won't go wrong getting that PSU.

I recently purchased a HX750W, and I have worked with the TX750W before as well. The build quality of both are amazing. I haven't used the HX yet, but the TX's fan is definitely quieter than a laptop's cooler at full speed. I would say it is quieter than a HDD that is at load, and similar noise level at idle. You'd have a hard time finding a better quality power supply than Corsair's HX and TX series.

I have it, and I can't hear it (I have 10 fans in my case tho)

It's an amazing PSU, the best I've had so far IMO (and I had Seasonic M12 600W, PCP&C Silencer 750W, Silverstone Decathlon 850W, all good PSU's)

Having flat cables alone is an amazing feature, they are long enough for any EATX case.

Great buy

I've got two TX750's and I love them! Both supplying enough steady power to fold with anything, while being quiet too! :)
