Question PSU requirement

what would be the min power requirement for this system:

8800GTX card require alot of juice. You'll at least need a deicated rail just for it. Most modern decent power supplies have 1 sometimes 2 (for SLI setups).

The power supply I got is fairly good. A silverstone Strider 600W. Just don't grab something too small on the real cheap. 400W or under. Strain a powersupply and next thing ya know you're getitn' a new one...if you're that lucky. sometimes they can take down other hardware with them.

The more wattage the more heat keep that in mind. Somethin' around $100-125 at NCIX is what you should aim for at least, the Power supply page isn't loading for me right now so...i can't go see. Just check out the top 10 on the ATX 12V page that should give you some idea.

that's gonna be a really nice gaming rig BTW.

Something modular? Or you don't care...
