I'm starting to think that a good rule of thumb is to spend at least as much on your PSU as you do on your memory........

I wouldn't put a sub-$100 PSU into anything current unless it was an HTPC with onboard vid.

I'd recommend spending less on a CPU and more on a power supply. Anything under $75 is not worth putting in a PC since it will surely die fast from being overworked. One important thing to remember. When your power supply blows, it will almost definitely take out half your PC with it.

You have a good system there. Why do you want to cheap out on the PSU?

I would not trust that Ultra on a system like you have there. Not at all. The MINIMUM and I mean BARE MINIMUM you are looking at is a good 500W power supply and if you overclock your quad above 3.5Ghz, you will need to look at something in the 550-600W range. I am refering to QUALITY PSUs here.

Something like...

Silverstone ST50EF
Corsair HX520
Antec Earthwatts 500W

IMO, maybe you should buy the Sonata III with the included 500W Earthwatts.

Silverstone ST50EF has been flawless for me and I can definitely highly recommend it and it is somewhat cheap if you find it on sale.
