I have a feeling these are similar to the Corsair HX850. Are the HX850 made by Seasonic?

I'm glad to see XFX is stepping up both their quality and product line. Picking up ATI was a definite bonus, as their warranty dominates anyone else's. Heck, PSU based on guaranteed Seasonic performance is also a great way to start! Kudos XFX... :)

I hope that at least it will perform as any M12D PSU.
Some may agree but I will paste what I said on JG:

I hate to say this but I am pretty much sick and tired of literally every PSU on the market looking the same. The only thing that was different every now and then was an LED fan here and there. Whoopty do.

Someone needed to take things to the next level and even though some may hate the styling, I personally love the precedent this sets. We might now finally see some changes to the boring old grey / black boxes of PSU.

Sure, custom designs still have to stick with the ATX standards (or an approximation thereof) but at least this shows that it can be done.

You have a point SKY. Besides that is a matter of taste. :)
Anyway for me how it looks is on second place first came performance/price then how it looks.
Eagerly waiting for your review...

The review unfortunately will not be up for several weeks. I still haven't decided whether to lump this into to a roundup alongside the Antec Signature 850 and Enermax Evo 85+ 850W or give it a stand-alone review.

Maybe you got my Antec contest winnings then instead of me. At least it will get put to good use. Just don't blow it up before I get it. ;)

Where was that power supply back in 2004? I could have used that green fan. Project Toxic Goo

I think it look good. Not sure I like the idea of spacing out all the modular cables, I think it might look cluttered behind tieing those down, I guess that remains to be seen.

I think it looks alright, not that I would buy it for that price..
