My System Specs

Talking Help me pick a new 1200W PSU

I am trying to decide which to get. I was about set on the BFG, but I have read some information about them having issues and putting out a revision to deal with ripple.

Any truth to this?

This is for the following rig:

X58 Classified
920 D0 Heavily overclocked
3 SLI GTX 280s heavily overclocked
6 GB RAM
Watercooling - 3 DDCs, 12 S-Flex F fans
4 CCFL lights
2 SSDs and 1 HD
1 DVD RW
Maybe some other stuff added as we go along

Anyway, the models I've been kicking around are:

NCIX.com - Buy Enermax Evo Galaxy 1250W EPS12V ATX 24PIN Modular Power Supply - EGX1250ETW-01 In Canada.

NCIX.com - Buy BFG EX-1200 1200W ATX 20/24PIN ATX 98A 12V Afc Modular Power Supply W/ 140MM Fan - BFGR1200WEXPSU In Canada. (This was first choice until some reservations after reading about issues)

NCIX.com - Buy Silverstone Zeus ZM1200 1200W ATX12V 24PIN Power Supply 95A 12V 80MM Fan Active PFC - SST-ZM1200 In Canada.

I have a Silverstone Olympia 1200w for Behemoth and have had no issues with. Its solid and quieter than the Zeus as well (120/135mm fan vs 80mm fan).

The Corsair 1000W wouldn't be enough juice?

Yes, but it's staying in it's place to power a second rig.

They are all good PSUs, but the Zeus is so clean looking and fully modular... easy choice IMO.

Hmmm, I just read that the EVGA Classified boards have issues with the Enermax!
