Is this safe to use?

8-pin EPS-12v to 2x 8pin EPS-12v Y cable - 6" - Sleeved Products Model: CB-EPS8-Y [CB-EPS8-Y] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come

My new setup requires 2 8pins I only have one, but im not sure how safe this is?

I wouldn't use one myself, but the "safeness" of it is going to depend greatly on what PSU you have and what card you intend to run.

If you're intending to use it on a GPU, sorry you cannot use this. This is 8pin EPS12v, not PCI-e 8pin.

However like SSwilson said, the safety of these adapters greatly vary by your setup. It'll help if we knew what they were

He's planning on using it on a workstation build.

Sorry I didn't get back to your PM sooner, yes the 8-pin Y cable will work just fine with the PSU your using and any motherboard that requires it.
