Default HX1000W

IS the Corsair HX1000W any good? Like is it better than a Ultra X3 1000w? Is it easy to sleeve?

Alright Folks, I'll handle this one, and Await your Wrath

They are in essence two different designs.
The HX1000 is a Twin Rain Design, with Semi-Modular Interface.
The X3 1000W is a Single Rail Fully Modular Setup.

The Corsair has Sleeved Cables, and the X3 uses 'Flex Force' Cables, which are a dream to work with IMO.

I prefer the X3's (I have one).

You would be just as good with Either to be Honest.

I have the hx1000. I love it, its silent, and because it has essentially 2 500w PSU's, its 80% efficiency is actually higher than 800W of a normal 80% efficient PSU

BTW, I thought you told me you sleeved your PSU?

Buy the HX850W.. single rail and has been tested at 1000W.. mind you the HX1000W probably can also load higher.. but its' not a single rail.
