I'll second that, I'd be very interested.

However, I'd think you'd need 200W continous for 2 pcs and monitors, etc. And then, because we live in Canada you'll have to overshoot, plus you want to actually charge the batteries as well.

I'd think you're looking closer to 500 to 700W worth of panels.....

Don't take the panel's word for it - those ratings are usually fairly ideal circumstances - good daylight, clear sky, proper panel angling, etc. You're almost guaranteed to get less than what the panel claim, especially as we're steadily losing daylight at this time of the year.

damn....

I just checked the draw at basic usage...
With the monitor, computer external hdd and speakers, its 200w draw... for mine alone :S

In order to make this work, we'd need over 4grand in panels, not to mention a bitch of a battery pool. The cost effectiveness of this just isnt there, even with energy costs the way they are...
