My System Specs

Default Pushing the Limits Perhaps?
OKay, so I'm doing a Compact Build for my Father.

Here are the stats.

Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P
AMD PHENOM II , 810 2.6Ghz
2 x 2 Corsair DDR2 800MhZ
2 OPtical Drives
1 WD Black 1TB
HIS 4670 (he doesn't game so this will suffice).

Question is, Right now in his Comp is an LSP450.
Do you think 450W will suffice for this? No Overclocking Obviously, and no extra power needed for the VC.
I'm trying to keep his costs down, but perhaps I might be asking too much of this vaunted PSU.

THoughts? (usually I am pretty good at getting my PSU numbers right, but I really want a second opinion on this)

For what its worth, an online PSU calculator says ~350W (and these calculators overestimate needs), so you should be OK. I am not familiar with that Ultra unit ST, but if a good oem makes it then I would say its perfectly fine.

LSP450 is the Lowest End Output on the Andy Platform. Its chugged for 1 1/2 years now, and my LSP is 3 years so...I think the longevity is good.

@ Dave - IF you got that all running off you 620, then I'm really good lol!

DVD - DVD copying I think, I never asked him why two Opticals.

I'm pretty sure any software for copying discs is going to copy it to the hd anyways. Someone more knowledgeable than myself might want to chime in here, but I think 2 of them is redundant.

Most programs can do on-the-fly copying direct from one drive to the other.
