Great review. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Ultra did.

So was I. I was actually floored.

I had heard that Ultra was really working on polishing up their image and this PSU confirms that.

That's for sure. The price is a little steep in my opinion with other PSU's just as good for $50 less.

Maybe this review will have an impact on the prices.

Hopefully. Where do you get the Ultras from to test?

We have an Ultra representative. They are very open to comments and suggestions but I personally think this may be more a matter of a certain etailer jacking the prices a little to high for us Canadian customers.

Hmmmm the only etailer I know that sells Ultra products is in T.O and they have an American counterpart. All I'll says is a song used in Rocky by the group Survivor comes to mind. That's just not to name any names.

We sell them here in Vancouver.....Check out FrontierPC.com - Canada's PC Technology Experts 1.866.800.8060, or send me an email - paul @ frontierpc.com. Our SKU is 950021856 . Not in stock at the moment, but I can have some ordered in for stock in 3-5 days.

Sorry to spam the place, but Toronto is far away, and I never like to have things shipped.

do you test these in your gigabyte aurora case? if so, are the cables long enough for some decent cable management?
on a side note, i used to check that T.O. retailers website all the time, and was planning to buy from them. until i found these forums. i was floored at how much higher their prices are than NCIX and DirectCanada.....way to go !!
