My System Specs

Default squealing psu

so under different loads my psu like to make different noises. when idle no noise when folding on 4870x2 no noise but when casual gaming only using 30-60% CPU and gpu it makes loud a squealing noise. anyone know what this is and how to fix it, no warranty on psu. and this only started after i turned it upside down for my new case.

Probably video card capacitors.. mine do it while I'm folding. It's annoying, however that's all it is. No worries.

If the fan on the psu is thermally controlled it may be going south.. If you can get at the computer with the side off when it's making noise reach into the psu fan with a pencil or something and press on the middle of the fan to stop it and see if the noise changes.
