Default How many watts for my build?

Diamond Radeon HD 4870 750MHZ 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI-I HDTV Out Video Card
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Quad Core Processor LGA775 Kentsfield 2.40GHZ 1066FSB 8MB Retail Box

This is my build, what kind of psu should I get? Is 500w good?

VX550/TX650 will handle that easily as well, and much "less expensive". If you plan on X-Fire down the line, a TX750 or PCP&C Silencer 750 would be good.

My System Specs


Just to put it into perspective, the rig in my sig is only pulling 290W through the wall as measured by a Kill-A-Watt at full 3D load.
