Default planning for new PSU

i need a reliable 1000W psu.
I'm planning to run mid-high to high-end gear (multi gpu's of course) and maybe a few extras. ( and need enough length to run through a full-tower case)
Also, modular would be nice.

I'm stuck between the Silverstone strider and zeus series, corsair hx1000W or something from pc power and cooling.
any inputs? thoughts? comments? experiences?

Yep...there's not much "negative", that can be said about Corsair PSUs... the HX1000 is no different. I 4th it.
