I had it coming... 450w antec is dead.

The 450w that came in my SonataII case bit the dust today. After a shutdown it did'nt want to power up again. Tried with another PSU and all the component seems fine...

So between those choices, what PSU would you pick? Those are all avail locally at this shop or another. All for 100-110$.

OCZ's GameXtreme line is definitely a step down from the top tier makes. Tests on them seem to show an above-average (in some cases, right out of spec) amount of voltage ripple, and their power ratings are at only 20 degrees, rather than 40-50 degrees.

I would seriously consider one of the other options, even if it costs a few bucks more. Even a Corsair VX550 would have no trouble with your system, has a much better track record, and is even a few bucks cheaper than the 650.

Personally I have the OCZ GX700W and I am reading that the 4 12v rails are not really that good with modern Video Cards compared to 1 solid 12v rail. I lost my OC from 3.19>>>>3.01 and the only change in the system was a 4850. I would consider something with a single 12v rail, hopefully someone with more experience can explain this a lot better.

Yeah...VX550/650 should do nicely. I have the VX550 as well..great PSU.

Yeah.. the Corsairs have one big 12v rail too... very nice. That 750 would be a good deal for you. GL

I would stick with the cosair power supply. The 120mm fan is going to be very silent.
