I absolutely HATED my MX1000 ... It was huge, heavy, had TERRIBLE tracking, and TERRIBLE input lag. It made me miss my MX700 because, even though it had only 4-6 hours of battery life (with a 12-hour recharge time :(), it was very responsive and tracked well while being much more comfortable. I have the MX Revolution as my wireless mouse now (with my MX518 for gaming) and it is a good combo. The MX Revolution walks circles around the MX1000 while being more comfortable and offering more functionality. Only downside is battery life is only 4-5 days instead of 2-3 weeks on the MX1000 ... |

Interesting influence from the old MX400 design:

I tried fancy mouses, and im a hard core gamer, I figures the 2000 DPI ona blue laser would help me pwn more. NOPE!. No differance than having a decent MS Optical comfort mouse, and a decent paying surface. And geuss what? My fance schmancy Razr mouse crapped outon me, bad wiring design internally. And that razr mouse was about 2 months old, if that.

| Because you drank to much cough syrup before you went to the store to buy a mouse, so it seemed like a good idea ![]() ps. You might also have very large hands
