Default almost prefect mouse for large hand?

at future shop, i looked at sample of mice... i want to buy logitech because its very good...

i tried

g5 - seem good as my old mx500 (or mx512) what different between 500, 512, 518 and g5?

g7 - small and no forward button

g9 - its good but no support for my lower palm... oh btw i dont get a idea about thin button... what its for?

mx rev - not bad... but scroll is at middle position... little difficult or not easy to use by top of middle finger...

so i want to see other non-logitech model... i also want long term reliable mouse (like logtiech)

so... i want to buy mouse that have

- 4 direction ways of scroll wheel THAT can be easy to use by middle finger... i dont like bend my finger very much...
- forward/back button
- whole palm support
- non wireless as possible... i dont like recharge it...
- for win xp x64... i dont know if 32bit can be using on x84...

AND use for game and internet browser

There are 2 types of "laser" engines. Optical uses a LED light and a optical light sensor to track movements. It is still very good, very precise, but some may say it is not as lightning fast as Laser. I got the laser model, and it is indeed extremely fast and responsive. My friend has the Optical, and it feels pretty much the same. There is not too much of a difference. I bought the Laser when it was on sale for about $70. I think another difference, is the lift height. Meaning, how high the mouse can be off the ground for the light sensor to stop tracking. The Laser has a much lower lift distance, only 1.8mm until it stops tracking, whereas the Optical is 3.8mm until it stops tracking. This I guess isnt that important to most people.

I see, the part numbers are different. Oh and don't forget to Pricematch.

The LED version is roughly $47 at DC: Steelseries Ikari Optical Professional Gaming Mouse - DirectCanada

The Laser version is roughly $70 also.. Steelseries Ikari Laser Professional Gaming Mouse - DirectCanada

NCIX seems to be charging quite a bit, those people who don't know about the PriceMatch feature might be getting ripped off.

It's not being "ripped off", it is maintaining optimum profit margin for the retailer. It's all about the wording.

Take note, everyone, price compare is your friend. The banner is at the top of every forum page.

ncix usually dont pricematch when the item is on sale PLUS... think about price of item from DC and shipping = price of ncix (of course no pick-up)
