I got a G15 rev2 about a month ago mostly for gaming and movies, with the lights off. It’s a very immersive environment, very cool too. As a regular everyday keyboard its not that good, the feel is okay, but the key lettering is very dim with the lights on, and with the keyboard lights also on, the backlight comes through the keys uneven. Still, I’m glad I got it, we were meant to suffer the everyday stuff anyways.
$200 for a keyboard that can light each key individually with patterns and the like. im SERIOUSLY considering getting this myself right now since its so damn cool!!! CHECK IT OUT!
Well, if I was going to spend that much money on a KB, I wouldn't want the keys to light up after I pressed them. I'd want them to light up before I press them so I know which one to hit.
it would be kinda cool to get it going the other way to have all the keys lit up all the time and then have them go out when you press them. The only thing I don't like about that keyboard is the colors are a little to pastel for me. A little bit darker more intense colors would make it FTW for me. If you do end up getting this Metaphor take some pics to show all of us.
I have own the 1st and 2nd Gen G15 keyboards. Both are well worth the money. Ive also used a saitek at a friends place. I like the G15 abit more, it really all comes down to personal preference. IMO ones not really better then the other.

If i did get it i think it would get the black version of the keyboard, hopefully the darkness of the keys themselves would make the keyboard colors cooler. Good thing I have a thinkgeek.com account, lol. We'll see how my paycheck is...
