My System Specs

Default Direct Canada

I still have not bought my gaming keyboard yet but I'm close to deciding on the K95. Direct Canada has one for $132 - free shipping. I'd normally just go to Memory Express and get a price match+ but Memory Express is out of stock on the K95's. I could wait til more come in - I'm sure more are on the way - right? Anyway, anyone have good or bad experiences with Direct Canada?

Any yeah or nay's on the K95? I like the idea of a bank of macro keys to be programmed for the multitude of buttons in flight simulations. Looked at logitech's offering closely, but I'm swayed by those who say go mechanical and you won't turn back. Other mechanical keyboards seem to max out at 5 or 6 macro keys. And the K95 has cool lighting options too. What's not to like eh? (well the price ain't to be liked much but oh well its only money).

I have the K90 and I've had no qualms with it whatsoever. I'd imagine the K95 would be even better.

Main suggestion from me is to try all of the different type of Cherry switches. My first mechanical keyboard was a Thermaltake Meka G1 with black switches and I really didn't like them. Changed to the K90's red switches and I couldn't be happier.

As for Direct Canada, their support is slow (and/or non-existent) but usually you don't need it. I find they ship out a lot faster than NCIX as of late, and the free ground shipping is nice. ($10 for air)

I can't say anything about your keyboard but I ordered several times from Direct Canada and I didn't have a single issue. Their prices are usually the best you can find.

Or just price match with NCIX if you want slightly better service. slightly.

Honestly at this point, not really. The time it takes for them to get your order out is beyond ridiculous lately.

I haven't had too much of an issue, myself. That being said I'm in Toronto, and so are they so... Heck, often enough I go pick stuff up and price match in store.

I'm in Brampton. I'd say 4 out of my 5 last orders with them have taken more than a week to process since the first Markham store opened.

Honestly I mostly buy directly at DirectCanada, their support while taking forever, are actually helpful. I had a Sapphire 6950 that had a defective fan, they said they needed to ship it to ASIA (that's how their stupid warranty thing works.) Since Sapphire cannot fix it and don't want to do anything about it, DirectCanada decided to give me an ASUS 6950 for free in exchange. They usually have the best prices and free shipping.

My only two complaints are: their site design looks horrible. They have this weird verify your order with your phone system in place but it never works, I only got the call 1 time in order to confirm it, the rest just needed to wait for it to be shipped.
