Warranty service from Logitech on a G9x mouse

Has anyone got any warranty service from Logitech.I had bought a Logitech G9x mouse (The Call of DutyMW3 one) .The left button starting double clicking and would'nt stay if I held it down.I had it about six months.I called there warranty department and told him what it was doing and ocourse he had me go though a bunch of steps.I told him I had other mice that I plugged in and they worked fine.He asked where I bought it and I said newegg.he did'nt ask me to send proof or nothing. He just wanted to know the part number and serial number .Then he told me that they would be sending me a new one and it would be shipped by UPS so I could track it.Sure enough three days later I got a email with a tracking number.I never had service like that, they usally want you to ship them the broken one and then you would get one.Best warranty service I had in a long time on a $100 mouse.

I had the exact same experience with logitech, my G500's laser was going wonky and the slippy pads were starting to wear out, submitted RMA request and they sent me a new G500 and didn't ask me to send in my old one. My old one started working right again so i traded the new mouse to another forum user. :thumb:

I had a G9 and the side of the mouse was peeling off. I contacted them, and they sent me a new G9x. I think I did send them my G9, but I still got a new mouse :)

My G500 is about 2yrs old, and the wheel clicks are almost totally gone. When I called Logitech they asked "does it still work", and well yes I guess it does, "so there's nothing we can do about it". What do I do? Call and complain more or just buy a new non-logitech brand? I suppose I have nothing to lose if I call again.

Anyone reccommend the Corsair M60? It's on clearance at CanComp, I just have to drive into the city to get it.

Send an RMA request online, chances are they'll mail you a new one.

I have an M60, it's not bad. I like the heft of it, it's fairly heavy with the aluminum base. I don't use the software for macros or profiles though, so if you're into that I can't help ya.
