Every razer product I've owned has done the double clicking thing after about 6 months. The solution is to open it up and clean it out, especially the switches.

That happened to me with my razer naga after about a year and a half, I'm probably just gonna buy another one since it is a quality mouse besides that one problem. Every other Razer product ive ever had though has worked great past warranty even :)

I am using the Razer Deathadder mouse and I don't have any double clicking issue. However, another issue that I have is with the scrolling wheel.
Its lifespan is about a year and a half and the problem with the scroll wheel is that when you scroll fast, sometimes it would skip upwards then move down. In the end leaving you on the same section. I searched on Google "deathadder scroll wheel skipping" and found that others have the same problem as well.

So just to let you know ...
I would recommend picking up one of Logitech brand mouse, as their customer service is great.

It seems like ever mouse I buy I am good if I get six months out of one before the left button messes up. I bought a Logitech G9x around six months ago and now the left button has the double click problem .But Logitech warranty service is the greatess.I just called the warranty department and told them of my problem. He asked where I bought it and what date I bought it ,he did'nt even ask me to send him a copy of the invoice.I was asked the part number and the serial number and he told me he would have one shipped to my address within a week.To my surprise I open up my emails and had a tracking numbet from ups to be sent a new Logitech G9x mouse.Logitech has the best warranty service I have ever delt with.
