It broke.

On the upside it is within London Drugs 15 day return policy so it goes back tomorrow - good thing I had a Dr. appointment in the city.

I tried to use it in NFS Shift2 - but could not get the program to recognize the pedals - so I configured the gear up & down as throttle up & down. And that worked for a while, until the Up lever broke off - looking at the break point it was very flimsy. I'm by no means rough on my toys, and while this lever was never meant to be held down like a throttle I didn't think that would make it break. Actually I kinda like the way that played with hand controlled throttle.

I'll take a look in the city at other wheels but might wait on that purchase. I wonder if I can use a joystick and throttle from my T-Flight Hotas X to drive a car instead of fly a plane?

I would suggest that if money is tight or you are not dedicated to racing 24/7, you save a bit and look for a used logitech G25 or something.

With the money I've spent on this rig in the past month or so it was time to be frugal and I went for a Logitech F310 and it gets me around the track - I actually get better times with this cheap controller than I did with the wheel. Sometime I'll break down and get a wheel again, but a better quality one.
