NCIX now has Cherry Keyboards

So I just saw this on NCIX, seems they now carry Cherry keyboards.

Such great prices even without the sale. Makes me want to buy one just to try out Red or Brown switches.

Wow nice thanks! Just ordered one with the red switches actually too. LOVE the blues on this DAS keyboard, but wanted a second mech for the other comp, and always wondered what red switches were like!

Are these actually good keyboards? And by that I mean, does anyone here ACTUALLY have one?

I did a quick search for reviews; they're an entry level caliber mechanical keyboard. Better than a dome, but not as hefty and build quality doesn't appear to match something from Filco or Das Keyboard.

Perhaps they fill the gap between cheap dome keyboards and more expensive mechanical switch ones?

There seem to be quite a few choices these days for mechanical switch keys, but that's fairly recent... used to be you couldn't find a mech keyboard sub $120.

I bought that one too even though I already have a CM Quickfire. The price (59$ + free shipping) was just too good to pass up to try out red switches. And Cherry has a reputation for making decent keyboards.

Some reviews said they were a bit on the lighter side and that they might slide around. But since the overall review was positive I decided to give it a go.

I have a cherry, no idea what switches it has but it quite decent and I got it for £12 delivered.. Something tells me it's a base model but I quite like it.


It is quite light but I don't tend to find it sliding more than I want it (easy to move but doesn't generally move unless I want it to)
Had it a year and a half and it's holding up pretty well, space is SLIGHTLY slanting but no sign of it giving out in any way.
And this from , as I said, what I guess is one of their more budget boards.

That looks like an interested board for $59. Time to upgrade my el cheapo rubber dome me thinks..
