Flatbed scanner recomendations
My old HP 3500C has kicked the bucket and I need a replacement.


Flatbed (lid needs to slide up for thick items like books or PCB's
handle up to legal size documents
good resolution
JUST a SCANNER, I don't need it to do a bazzilion things poorly, just scan well.
Win7 64bit friendly
Budget - none, for work.

Epson V600. I use it at Home, works great and has the features you are looking for.

We just bought 2 of those for here at work in a little multimedia lab and from what I have seen they quite good.
