MX518 ftw. For replacement considerations, maybe the razer imperator. A friend got the razer mamba and I didnt mind that too much can do wireless and wired.

I am in the same boat as tdubl07:

+1 for the G500 as long as you can get used to the rougher texture feel but it's overall shape is more or less the same , but the tracking on this mouse is more precise.

I've tried so many mouses and they are all pretty decent now but a lot of it comes down to button placement per individual as well as the overall layout and height/width.

I don't mind any of them but some it depends on the game etc.. I don't have a big hand but I find about 15-20 min in a game I can use any of the mice but some are more preferable. I'm also using a cloth mousepad (which also makes a huge difference with mice (the surface its on)..

The Logitech G700 has 13 buttons and is wireless with 5700DPI and it is a full speed USB with a 1000 reports /sec.If you want a wired then on 7-6-2012 they are comeing out with the Logitech G600 MMO Gameing mouse and it has 20 buttons with 8200DPI the buttons look like it would take some time to get used to.Right now I would go with the G500 or the G9x which is on sale for $44.95
