I am pretty much sold on having a backlit keyboard. That feature is just very enjoyable as I tend to keep my room quite dark.

For now, I am really considering the Mionix Zibal 60 (cherry MX black) despite being quite expensive, but I am still reading a lot about other keyboards and also consider the likes of a Ducky DK-9008 Shine (Cherry MX blue, black, brown or red) and Deck Legend (Cherry MX black). I know those options are quite expensive...

After using a mech board, you will never go back. Mionix Zibal 60 is a great keyboard. Its a shame they didn't make the DAS with back lighting.

I like thermal takes new mechanical keyboard. They use the black cherry switches and it also has an extra usb dongle so the usb ports on the keyboard are powered nicely. Unlike many other boards out there with usb ports that can barely charge a cell phone.

I am currently using a Steelseries 6gv2 I recently picked up a few days ago. From what I gathered from my research on this unit, it has cherry mx blacks. It definitely does not have the same tactile response compared to a cherry blue but in the end it improved my typing experience. To be honest jumping from a rubber dome to a mechanical, you really can't go wrong with any of the keys (they are all gonna be a massive improvement)

I've been looking for other Red type keyboards besides the Corsair K90. Anyone else have any suggestions or links?
