My System Specs

Default G700 or Performance MX?

Ok, so now my G5 just byte the dust after ear 5 years of fellowship and awesomeness. I am now thorn between G700 or Performance MX. I made a pro and cons list of both but...still can't decide :( help me?
Right now I am not gaming that much, mostly need a confo and reliable mice, and I HATE light mice. and I'm a palm grip user.

Pros :
G700
Look comfortable.
13 Keys
Unifying receiver
Great tracking

MX Performance :
Look comfortable
Darkfield
Unifying receiver

WHAT TO DOOOOO!!!

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I have used both for a very long time and can't say anything bad about either.

They are very very similiar mice. The performance mx is definitely a lot simplier (less buttons) and more meant for productivity and long term use.

Going by what you previously used, I think the G700 would fit a lot better than the performance mx.

Found the Performance MX for 69.99 on Amazon.ca I think we got a winner for that price :) Let`s price match it to NCIX and get a headset with that :D

One thing to keep in mind I guess is that the G700 eats batteries like no tomorrow. I had to switch 2 batteries in a day before.

Good to know but I just ordered the Performance MX pricematched for 69.99 at NCIX few second ago, got the confirmation e-mail as I type this message.

Edit : When you are used to a G5 and you drop to a Logitech optical M-BJ58 ( ho lol blowjob 58 :) ) it's a terrible downgrade.

Good thing you didn't go for the G700.. since you hate the G500 ;) Basically the same mouse, but wireless and a couple extra buttons

I've got two MX 518's. Nothing but positive things to say about them! +1 for MX performance

I'm using a G700 right now from using a G5. It does uses alot of battery and abit heavy with a battery. Removing the battery made it too light though. So far I got used to it.
