Default Gaming keyboard suggestions and macro question.

Am thinking about getting a gaming keyboard for the first time. I have loved Corsair products so I'm looking at this one:
NCIX.com - Buy Corsair Vengeance K90 Performance MMO Cherry MX Red Mechanical 20 Key Rollover Gaming Keyboard USB - Others - CH-9000003-NA - in Canada

It's very new though so there isn't much information on it anywhere that I can find.
I want good/strong back lighting. Mechanical or not doesn't matter. Macro = see question below.
Any suggestions?

Question about macro: If I want to create a macro consisting of 5 keystrokes can you put a delay into the macro between the keystrokes? For example a macro consisting of 5 keystrokes would they execute all 5 keystrokes in a fraction of a second or can you have the macro execute with a 1 second delay between executing the keystrokes? Is it perhaps that some keyboards will permit this and others don't? I don't want to buy a premium keybord and not have it do what I want.

IIRC, I think my Logitech software has a delay feature for macros. I don't see why Corsairs software wouldn't. But I guess you're better off safer by waiting until it's released, and then downloading the software off of Corsair to see if there's the delay feature.

Thanks for the reply big. :)

I have read that some keybords do not have a dely in the macro keys so was a concern.
I also have a set of the new Corsair 1500 headsets in my NCIX cart as well as a new Z68 Gigabyte mobo = all of these are brand new with no reviews on them yet that I could find.
Should be fine though as Corsair and Gigabyte are top tier companies. :)

The logitech G's can record macros with the exact delay between keystrokes that you typed.

Not many people think of Dell when buying a keyboard, but they sell the Alienware TactX. Very good keyboard with the ability to use a kazillion different lighted colours etc. etc. Worth a look see.

I didn't know that. I guess the only difference is the Alien Head and lights on the TactX. Good to know though, for cost.

I just checked and they are both the same price. $80. Alienware comes with a software CD that has more funtions than Logitech.
