HELP ME PICK A NEW GAMING MOUSE

I am finding that my Logitech wireless mouse just isn't cutting it for online gaming , BFBC2, Crysis 2 etc.
just seems to be some lag . I just bought a logitech G110 keyboard and so far I like the feel of it , unfortunatelly I was a joystick kind of guy for years and am not sure about the new gaming mice . Any help and suggestions here would be greatly appreciated .

Logitech G500 is my weapon of choice right now.

+1 for Logitech G500. Good accuracy and dual-mode scroll wheel is quite useful

the first thing I suggest is to go with a wired mouse, then if you use extra mouse buttons make sure that the games you play can configure those mouse buttons, I have played allot of games in which all of the extra buttons on my mouse are not configurable which makes my extra mouse buttons kind of useless, I have been using my g500 ( logitec for quite a while and it is the second best mouse that I have ever owned , my favorite mouse ( which like an idiot I gave away to my Nephew) was my Logitec mx518, it fit perefctly in my larger hands and also when I bought it I found a excellent deal at staples where they price matched it at 25.CAD that was over half off. the mx518 I was able to use mouse hacks from the Logitech forums to personalize that mouse perfectly for me which I can't seem to do with the g500 but this is still a good mouse .

I did too until the most recent Deathadder firmware rendered it useless. The cursor moves around but it doesn't register clicks. Thanks Razer.

That's a minor issue honestly, something like that makes you get over a product? :P

The mouse I'm using is the Logitech G9.

P.S. My Keyboard is the Logitech G15. Just so you know.

The g500 looks a bit slicker but I use the Microsoft sidewinder and it works pretty well.
