Track IR Canadain Retailers?

Just wondering if there are any "brick and mortar" stores that sell the Track IR in Canada?

I know, I am just saying.. it is not exactly a common product and NCIX stocks(last time I checked) TrackIR 5.

i suppose it depends on where you live. you can walk in to an ncix store and pick it up as well

It might help if folks knew where you lived. If you're somewhat handy you can make a Track IR system using a wii controller. The program is called FreeTrack. The Wii controller works best but most webcams can do the job quite nicely. It will take you about 2 days from start to finish to get things working the way you want. I made one a few years ago but I've since sold my wii and the controller I was using. The instructions can be found here: Welcome to the FreeTrack website.

If you still want the extra bells and whistles of the commercial Track IR the only place I've seen it is online at NCIX. If you can't order online ie. no credit card no paypal whatever the reason you maybe able to get in ordered in for you at your local computer shop. Most of these small shops don't carry large inventories so they order in stuff from suppliers as they need them, chances are they can order a Track IR for you.

I live in cold lake, I was just wondering if there were any stores around I could go to and look at the product. NCIX is a great etailer and I plan on buying my SB parts from them in the next month.

Does anyone who owns the TrackIR5 still use it or has it lost its charm?

TrackIR does not really get old and boring. It may seem like a novelty to some but it is actually incredibly useful and you wish all the games you played had support for it.
