Default Xai as comfortable as Ikari?

So I was browsing around for a good gaming mouse and saw the Steelseries Ikari here:

NCIX.com - Buy Steelseries Ikari Laser Professional Gaming Mouse - 62001 In Canada.

And the Linus video really sold me on it, but I see there is a newer model the Xai:

NCIX.com - Buy Steelseries Xai Laser 8 Button Gaming Mouse USB - 62012 In Canada.

If I am a righthanded person, is there any benefit to the Xai? I was going to pick up the Ikari but my local store is out of stock, which leaves online ordering, in which case I can pick between the Ikari and the Xai.

I have owned 2 ikari's which have both broke down in a one year and a half time period (after the first, steelseries sent me a new ikari which broke down in 2 weeks). After that, they agreed to send me the new xai with a nice 4hd pad. I must say that the Xai feels much better to game with or to just do everyday stuff with. It isnt as ergonomic as the ikari, but it still feels if amazing in your hand. Not only does it feel comfortable, it feels much more stronger and firmer than the ikari. Overall so far I am enjoying this new Xai MUCH more than my previous Ikaris (I have had my Xai for around 2 months so far). Also consider getting a rough mouse surface like the 4hd or 9hd if you get mice like the xai or the ikari, because cloth pads don't let the mice glide as much, and dust tends to get in the sensors easily, causing problems, and cloth pads tend to attract dust a lot.

My System Specs

I am currently using a Xai and when I tried the Ikari at the store it felt awkwardly shaped so i never bought one, but to each there own.

I have tried different mice, I own quite a few gaming mice (Razer Lachesis x2, Razer Mamba, Logitech MX518, Logitech G7 x2, Logitech G500, Logitech G700, HP Voodoo DNA Mouse, Steelseries Xai)

I prefer the Xai the most out of all the mice I have bought and tried. Its the most comfortable and I like the way it feels the most. I have used it with both the Razer Destructor mouse pad and the SteelSeries 9HD mouse pad.

If you can feel an Ikari in person though I would recommend trying that before buying, it has taken me over 10 different mice to find the one that I like the most!
This is my signature! Roar

Thanks for the responses guys, helps out quite a bit. As far as mousepads go, I see that the 9HD is 35 bucks, for 15 more I could get the cool aluminum mouse pad. You guys have any experience with it?

I would recommend the Xai as well.

I find it to be very comfortable (despite the way it looks) and extremely good for gaming.

The only thing I would like is a scroll wheel to match the quality of the rest of the mouse.....which feels like a kind of metallic velvet if that's possible.
