Default what router to get?

Hey,

I was just wondering what a good router is to get..

i was looking at this
NCIX.com - Buy D-LINK DIR-615 Wireless N Router 802.11N Draft 802.11G 300MBPS 4 Port 10/100 - DIR-615 In Canada.

I have read some terrible some review and just wanted to see what people are saying here..

Scott

EDIT: Just noticed the networking section, please move this if you would like

I'd suggest this, pricematch it and see how low you can get it. Gigabit ports, and wireless N, there's also the D-link 655's which are Gigabit as well.

NCIX.com - Buy ASUS RT-N16 4 Port Gigabit Wireless N Router with 2X USB 2.0 Ports - RT-N16 In Canada.

I've read a lot of good things about it. The purpose of DD-WRT or Tomato is that they are third party firmwares which offer more control of over your router than the standard stock garbage that tends to come with them. It's not always a benefit for users installing it though, it boils down to the specific needs of your network. I'd definitely suggest reading up on both of them though, to decide for yourself
