Default Where to Buy Security Token in Canada?

I'm looking for a security token like the Aladdin eToken NG-OTP or RSA SecurID 800. These things are really hard to find. I placed an order on CDW, but they aren't sure if they can even get that item in. I'm waiting for a phone call from them, but I thought people on this forum might know where to get the same or similar device in Canada. I found an auction on ebay for 10 of them for only $50 more than the single token, but the seller is located in Israel. I'd rather buy in Canada since shipping / customs charges might be a lot, not to mention shipping time.

Maybe contact some corporate security contractors? I don't think that's typically something people buy, thus why it's difficult to buy one.

I do IT contracting for a City here in BC. The Fire department uses the RSA 800's to submit inspections to the provincial website.. All of this is based out of Surrey. Try calling the IT dept of the Surrey fire dept. and see if they will tell you where they got theirs.

best to contact RSA directly, i don't know of a reseller for this sort of stuff.

https://www.rsa.com/go/contactsales.asp

Note that the keyfob is just one side of the coin, you need to be able to register the keyfob into your back-end using an RSA Keymanager.

Well thanks for everyones effort. CDW got back in contact with me and they won't sell the etoken to me without talking with an Aladdin rep as well since Aladdin says that I have to purchase some other type of software that is more expensive than the token for it to work. I'm not convinced - I just want to use this with TrueCrypt, PuTTY, and maybe for Windows logon through CAPI (I haven't quite figured out how to do the logon part, but I'm pretty confident I can get it set up for Truecrypt and PuTTY). I've got the eToken PKI client installed from Aladdin.ru as well as the initialization program. What other software is there to buy? I just cancelled my order through CDW because it was too much hassle.

RSA Secure ID Tokens are designed to work with a RSA device at the location you are trying to secure. You also need this for any other features. Also keep in mind that for the token to work there is also a seed file that needs to imported onto the RSA device. In general these kind of devices are designed to be used in a corporate envorinment. Also i would never buy a token from ebay as they are likely either blacklisted or about to expire.
