Need Gaming Keyboard suggestions

Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a gaming keyboard. I've never had one (currently I have a Gateway multimedia keyboard lol, but the keys are starting to not work so I need a new one.) Anyways, I want a keyboard that has backlit keys (I play games in the dark at night a lot), it should be quiet, and I don't want it to be friggin' huge. I was looking at the Logitech G110. Can anyone suggest anything better?

I've got a G15 on both of my computers, and I love these things. The G11 is basically a G15 without the LCD screen, so I assume the G110 will be near the same, so a good choice as well.

The G110 is the successor of the G11, so you think that's a good choice?

It's probably a pretty good choice, but take a look at the G15. For example at NCIX, the G110 is $99.99 and the G15 is $103.20. If you use any programs that can make use of the LCD screen, I'd say the $4 would be well worth it. for example, I use it solely for Ventrilo so I can see who connects, disconnects, joins the channel, etc. As well for Bad Company 2, it's got a couple pages of info that could be useful in game.

Then again, if you can make use of the new extras, the G110 might be a better choice.

i got the g110 near christmas and it is a great looking keyboard. With the sleek look it sold me. I wouldn't of bought it if it wasn't because of that and for the price of 100$ i wouldn't buy it now. I owned a g11 near january and gave it away because it was big.. If i would get a keyboard now, i personally get a g15v2 or razer lycosa mirror edition (not the regular one) or the microsoft side runner x6 or w/e it's called. Probably the microsoft because the functions are useful than other gaming keyboards :thumb:

The Saitek Eclipse II have backlit keys. I've been using it for a few years now, works great, and responds well, but definitely doesn't have the functionality as those Logitech G-series keyboards. I game pretty heavily on it but it does its job. It also has 3 different colour settings, blue, red, and purple (basically what the keyboard does is just light up the red and blue lights). I got mine on sale for 40 bucks back in the day...I dont think its worth a lot more than 50 bucks. I can tell you for a fact its been on sale for ~40 atleast once a year at various places like futureshop, ncix, etc...

I got my Saitek Eclipse II yesterday from NCIX. I payed $49.99 after pricematch.
I like it. Heavy/sturdy and good looking. I looked at Razer offerings but too many people are reporting issues with the "lost keys"???
I looked at the G110, but it's double the price. I found the audio ports (for headphones) on the keyboard interesting in the first place, but it's recognized a a USB audio device that overrides system audio settings...I don't like that, it's like a USB headset...(so I seen in reviews...)

G15

LCD screen is great for TeamSpeak 3 and BFBC2 or consider the G13 gamepad has the same display options.

The Steelseries Merc Stealth is a nice buy as well. I have the non-backlit version and the gaming pad is great!

G15 is simply an awesome KB!
