I think I asked about this a while ago, but wanted to test the waters again to see if there is something I'm missing in the current market.
To date, the only PCIe add-on card I've seen available that might actually make it into somebody's system has been a fairly high end dual tuner tv card.
The increased bandwidth offered by PCIe over PCI suggests that it would offer benefits to things like tv or sound cards, but is anybody really using it, or are we just losing functionality by having only 2 PCI slots in order to make room for 3 PCIe that we won't be using for several years?
