good, cheap and wireless don't go together. you can only have 2 of the 3. I personally loathe all wireless mice. But logitech has some decent ones.

Razer Mamba, only cost you $160 Only real wireless mouse I'd probably suggest.

Perhaps the Logitech G7 as well, though I'm not fond of the shape of those. The MX Revolution is decent too, though not really a gaming mouse if that's what you want.

To be honest, wired is the best. And the wires are far slimmer/more flexible than the early days of USB mice so they really don't get in your way.

As far as wireless mice go, I would recommend the MX Revolution for productivity, and the Razer Mamba for gaming, although neither of those would ever be classified as cheap mice. Strictly speaking, you're going to want to get a wired mouse like the MX518 or the G5 if you plan on doing any serious gaming. Both can be had on the cheap (<$60).

If you are on a desktop I would recommend a wired mouse. If you are on a laptop, the wireless might make sense. I had a Logitech V450 for my laptop and quite liked it despite the lack of thumb buttons, but its responsiveness was pretty good. I now have an MS Blue Track and I actually don't like it as much, but it has thumb buttons so... pros/cons I guess.

i have a logitech vx revolution for my laptop which is pretty nice. It's a bit small, but it doesn't hurt my hands and i use it all day long. Be careful with the laser mice because most of them will die if you drop it from hip height on the floor. Optical mice are much more durable. I use an mx518 on my home computer. It's my favorite shape and works great for games.

For a mice like that it's pretty cheap, the enx lvl is the MX revolution.
NCIX.com - Buy Logitech MX 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse 2.4GHZ Adjustable DPI USB2.0 2XAA - 910-000719 In Canada.

This one is also pretty good if you find it. The same mice come with the MX 3200 KB/Mice kit for about 112$ most of the time. Good battery life great quality and feel good in and, for low budget wireless it's a must have.

NCIX.com - Buy Logitech MX620 2.4GHZ Cordless Laser Mouse USB - 910-000242 In Canada.

Ask for more.

The ideal wireless mouse would be one that will runs on inductive charging so there's no battery inside of them, and it will take the shape of an MX Revolution with the laser adjustment options of [insert gaming mouse].
