Default New Logitech G9 wtf?

In less than 2 months the surface started peeling off and new bubbles appear everyday, bad item or are they all like that? Got it from bestdirect.ca:

The bubble area peels off easy and leaves ugly spot, this is not some kind of protective film.

I have the same problem, contact logitech you should be able to get a new handle sent out to you. In the meantime you could switch grips.

I guess I'm lucky :P.. 1 year and my g9 is in perfect condition. Logitech should be able to send you a new grip

Every G9 does that, especially with more sweat.

Logitech support should take care of it. It's a common problem.

My G9 has this issue as well. I just switched to the other grip but I should probably email Logitech for a replacement sometime.

Hey, This happened with the cherry picked demo logitech g9 I had too, they will replace it instantly, I've had it happen to about 30 mice haha. That grip is replaced in the next new G9x that'll be out in a bunch of months, but they will send you new ones always and forever.

I prefer the smaller, sweatwicking grip anyways.

That also happened to my MX Revolution, the right side grip stated to peel within the first month but the funny thing was I had bought 2 of them. One for myself and one for a Christmas gift for my friend and his is still Ok? But I do have sweaty palms and believe this is what caused it. Anyways did not get a replacement because I did not like the coating in the first place (rubberized and felt like suede) and when it started to peel I gladly helped it along with some 2000grit paper, now itís nice and smooth.

Funny you mention that...its happening to the one I have that I bought from somone . Maybe I call logitech on my next day off see if I can't myself a new grip.

G9x...hmmm interesting do tell

The girlfriend doesn't much like the sweat wicking away type (always complains) and I prefer the smooth one simply because its bigger and fits my gynormous hands better.
