Most wireless mouses don't work at all with gaming, like my MX Air, it would micro-stutter randomly.(Hence why I have 2 mouses now, 1 for multimedia, and 1 for gaming) However, I wouldn't be so quick to judge all wireless mouses based on that. I've heard good things about G7 and X8. And the steelseries stick is big and ugly so I never used it. I can mail you mine if you actually want it.

lol if I had 1 peice of steel series gear id take you up on that, but thats kind of posserish, I think im just going to pick up one of those mice soon, G5 is still a bit slow for my liking. Thanks for the offer though =)

Wow i can't even imagine trying to use a MX Air for a gaming mouse, after watching a couple of vids of it in action it seemed more like an office pointer.

Ended up going with a G9, which amazingly was on sale for $69.99 at Best Buy. At least I can take it back if I don't like it.
