Gaming this, Gaming that, seeing the "gaming" label being put on almost everything. If its a good, premium product you shouldn't need to label your product "Gamer EXTREMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEE", you should be able to sell it on its own merits.

Sorry. Mini-Rant.

IMO...

the mouse if very important. It's really the number one input device for a pc. And if you're a gamer, I mean a real hard core gamer, you should be looking at something with on the fly adjustable DPI. Something like the MX518 or such the likes.

I'm using a G7 (I just love cordless) and I love it. It's fast and responsive, I don't notice any of this much talked about "LAG", and the fact that it has two swappable batteries keeps me going and going and going...LOL

It's also comfortable in my big mitts!!!

For me it's about the right features + comfort. I don't need on the fly dpi switching and I much prefer the size of my thumb buttons on my Deathadder over those on say an MX518. So for me Deathadder makes good sense. Find something that feels right and meets your needs. If you are not too picky than $25-$30 for a high dpi mouse with lotsa buttons sounds like a decent deal to me. ;)
