Default Stains on brand new Logitech G15

Hi,

I just unpacked my brand new logitech G15 2Nd gen and it got some strange stains on some keys... here is a pic (sorry for the quality) :

It's incrusted in the keys, i tryed to clean it up with lighter fuel and it do nothing.

Do you think it's normal ?
Should i exchange it ? (i bought it on Ncix)

Thanks for advice

it look not really used.. it look not like normal key wear... just like some oil on keys but it's not oily on touch.

Well, that is what it would look like if you were to get oil on the keys. Aka, a bag of chips and some tf2, lol. I've never had a problem cleaning mine with those Lysol wipes. Dries nice and clean. I would send it back if you can't get it off, with a basic cleaner.

If you don't like it then RMA it for sure. I probably would if I got one like that.

Better go CSI on it and try and pull the finger prints and DNA off of it

But yeah, definitely RMA it cause that's unacceptable.

I tryed to clean it up with lighter fuel... it do not come off... it's really incrusted.

I never did a RMA... how it work ? bought it on ncix.

but it's just a bit over 1 month that i bought it. (it's one of the first part i bought for my new build) i should have checked it when i got it .

Can i RMA anyway ?

I'll send the pic to my good friend at Logitech and see what he thinks is the best route to deal with this.

Whether you have to RMA with NCIX, or Logitech, you are in good hands. Both companies are excellent to deal with.

Yeah continue to look into returning it but I've forwarded it directly to my good friend who is going to give it directly to the proper department; they really don't like things like this happening so we'll see what comes of it. Go about your own route to return it for now and we'll see how it goes. I'll get involved if you have no luck.
