looking for gamepad with a STIFF analog stick

I used to have a thrustmaster Rage3D, i don't know if anyone remember those. They were good shit, stiff. They just didn't make drivers for winXP so i haven't played hockey games since. I find all the gamepad these days have puny analog sticks that offer no resistance when you use them so i always overshoot my target. Seems like ever since gaming became a console thing, they've made things puny for the kids.

I want a gamepad with a stiff analog stick to play hockey and fighting games, with six buttons for the right thumb preferably.
