Suggestions for a Good Mouse Pad

To be honest i have never actually bought a mouse pad i have always had freebie ones i got a new Microsoft Wireless Desktop Laser 4000 kit for Christmas. The Keyboard is very comfortable on the wrists and though its a big to get used to with the keys in a wave like pattern i think i have gotten a good grasp of it.

The mouse on the other hand is a Wireless Laser 5000 mouse is shaped different from any previous wireless mouse i have had currently using a wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0. The reviews says the 5000 is ambidextrous wahtever that means. Anyways my problem is its just way too sensitive and my Visa Mouse pad is all cracked up and too small so its time to actually buy my 1st Mouse pad. So any suggestions would be awesome now please do keep in mind i aint going to spend over 30-50 dollars on a mouse pad as to mee its a mouse pad its gotta be justifiable. Thankyou

Gav is getting us some of these: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...ouse-pads.html

Not sure when they will be available but a HWC mousepad would be neat to have and they are supposed to be of good quality as well

In all honesty since your not a hardcore FPS gamer there is no need for an expensive Ub3r Leet pad.

What is your preference, Soft or HARD. DO you want a pad the is extremly slippy with little resistence, or do you prefer something with a little more control?

Remember cloth pads are prone to traping dirt than hard ones.

Some progress has been made. Production is done and they are on a slow boat from China as we speak so my guess is another week or so.

I know nothing about which would be my preferance soft or hard. Do understand i have always used free mouse pads lol so im pretty much a Mouse Pad Virgin. With that in mind i do not want a huuge mouse pad but not too small as my current one is. Its length and width is of a typical 500 ml water bottle im using this instead of actual measurements cause its dead on, on how big my current mouse pad is and i had a bottle of water on my desk.

Which would be good for a laser mouse? soft or hard?

I suggest to you the QCK mini. I have the regular size (11x12.5), use it daily for gaming with my G5 laser mouse. Might be the best $12 I've spent.
