Wow, that keyboard looks nice. :)

Probably wont be my next purchase though, because i love my Saitek Eclipse and if i'd buy a new one it would be the Saitek Eclipse II. ^_^

It's here!!!!! :)

Ok... I absolutely love this keyboard!!!!!!

Folks who aren't used to using a laptop keyboard might not like it, but the action is perfect (even has a decent "click" for each stroke) for those of us who are. My last keyboard was a cheepo with "laptop style" keys, but while they had the short throw of a laptop keyboard the action was fairly soft. The "scissors" style of this one feels great!

This is a proper full size keyboard, and it weighs a ton, so those of you old schoolers like me who pine for the desktop presence of the original IBM keyboards will be in heaven! (Minus the 1/2" throw on the keys of course... :) ).

It's also got an extremely low profile, and using the feet only raises the back aprox. 1/4" so if you're used to having your keyboard at a 45 deg. angle you'll be out of luck.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it didn't seem to want to work using a USB-PS2 adapter. I'm guessing this is because of the extra power requirements of the USB hub. It's not a biggie as most folks use nothing but USB to power their rigs anywise...... but something to keep in mind if you've got one of those motherboards which needs a PS2 keyboard to get into the bios setup.

Folks who use the media keys on their keyboards will have to look elsewhere as this one ships with just the standard 104 key layout.

If you're interested and can't find it at your regular on-line haunts, this is where I picked mine up........

Just a quick update on this keyboard.....

I've been using it for over a month and I'm still quite impressed.

Just like your first scroll mouse spoiled you for life, once you've had your hands on a keyboard with good tactile and stroke you'll never be able to return to a standard $20 keyboard.

Thanks for the heads-up on this keyboard, definitely thinking of picking one up in black.

However, that silly store only ships to Atlantic Canada

Excellent keyboard, still working perfectly after 6 months of hardship and intense daily usage.

I can't seem to find anyone who carries this keyboard. Even the original linked store doesn't seem to carry them now. Anyone know of any other sources? I tried ebay but drew a blank

I was going to suggest CanadaComputers ... they had them in stock a few weeks ago but seem to be off the product list now.

They had one of each (black and brushed aluminum) listed yesterday, but they were for store pick-up only.

Don't know why these things are so hard to get your hands on... you could try a message to the folks over at NCIX to see if it's possible for them to get these in or possibly the new(er) "ultra" version.
