Default Problem with Bios:(

Does anyone know if oc'n can corrupt a bios? If so can you just reflash it? My problem is that after I pushed my system to the point of restarting after oc'n too high some settings in bios are not working properly. My quick boot option is enabled but still runs memory scan and full boot. Also my crossfire is querky.... was working fine then now it said cant comunicate between cards. Wondering if that is dongle(not loose checked/ unhooked and rehooked up) or if the setting in the bios for which pci-e slot to boot first is not working correctly as the quick boot? I already have the latest bios and wondering if I reflash would it possibly fix one or both of these issues. Thanks in advance

Yes it is possible that either the OC mucked it up, or just the act of going in to reset it soo many times while OC'ing.

Have you tried a long c-mos reset yet? If not, as long as the system is stable you can try a bios flash. (I may end up doing one myself to see if it solves my "won't accept audigy card" issues).

System is perfectly stable. I did a reset that was about 2 or 3 mins long and lol took me another 1/2 hour to redo my settings as I didn't write any of them down(raid, boot order and such) In your opinion Wilson should I just reflash old file(worked good) or to the newest that only improves use with vista(which I might never install )lol.

I had that board and it was picky with the bios it liked. If I were you, I'd stick to the bios you know works. I would not flash the newest just for Vista issues.
