Default TEAM CUP 2016

Why, hello there HWC overclockers! I didn't see you standing there. How long have you been there? What did you hear?! I deny everything!

Whoops, maybe we got off on the wrong foot. Here, let's try that again...

Why, hello there HWC overclockers! It's Team Cup time again! Yippeee!

Last year, Team HWC came in an impressive 6th out of 95 teams. Let's see if we can't reach the top 5 this time. In order to do that, though, we're going to need broad participation from as many Hardware Canucks members as we can get. One of the great things about the Team Cup is that there are so many different competition categories that you're almost guaranteed to have the kind of hardware needed to participate. So here's a brief overview of all the different events in this year's Team Cup...

Please feel free to use this thread to discuss. Hardware Canucks has always been the little team that could in this competition. So hopefully we can cobble together enough scores again this year to Crack the Top 5!

So Stage 1.5 is limited to AMD videocards with Cedar Pro, Turks, Caicos, Cape Verde, Bonaire and Tahiti cores. These are mostly Radeo HD 7000-series, R7's and R9's. But it depends on the card, because many videocards in each of these families use different cores. So it's a good idea to double-check whether you have the right videocard for this stage before spending any time on it.

Pretty sure I still have one of those on the ol' heap. Haven't powered it up in years and years - hope it still works!

Not me, I'm a strictly ambient guy. Not sure we have any subzero guys left on the team, actually. But hey - that never stopped us before!

If ya can't get your hands on dry ice.. a good second solution on a watercooling kit is to put the 3x140 rad into a giant bucket of ice water.
Hell, i've had an air duct come direct from a tower air conditioner to get temps down before.

Check out the dogpile stages. You can literally bench any hardware you want, and you can make as many submissions as you want! Sounds like an awful lot of fun, tbh, and I'm looking forward to it.
