My System Specs

Default batch numbers

i cant figure out how to read whats a good batch number here is mine off my new E8400
#Q807A094
is that good or bad and can i push it at 3.6 on air?

Did you try googling that # + overclocking?

I'm currently beating up on a Q809A174 and so far it's taken me 1.35 to push it up to 3500 (heh... had it installed all of 1.5 hours... :) ), but I'm under water so my max load is still only 42c.

I suspect 3.6 should be no problem on air.

only site that has that is xtremesystems.

and in regards to the 8400 .. batch numbers mean nothing

I have yet to read about a Q807A that couldn't hit 4.0Ghz with minimal voltage, so I'm confident that you will have zero issues hitting 3.6Ghz.
