Default Smiple Question

Im a noob at OC and I have a I5 2500k with a Corsair A70 heatsink on a Gigabyte GA-Z68x-UD4-B3

want to do a modest OC 4.0 maybe a bit more

what should i set voltage around. I have seen people around 1.25v-1.35v but those are for higher OC.

Any help would be helpfull

My System Specs

Default

the Bios I have on my Asrock motherboard I can easily OC to 4 all I do is go into my bios setting do it automatically but that is me .

I know that every single motherboard is different so the rule of thumb is start small and slowly bump up a little at a time until you get to were you want then stress test it.

On average I am very sure that your system should easily handle 4ghz but remember because just becasue one motherboard cpu combo can do something it doesn't mean the a different but same motherboard can do less or more .
