My System Specs

Default IMC Integrated Memory Controller

So, any feedback on the IMC in the i7-4770K? Is it weak? Or will it let you take your memory to the moon?

The memory controller on the Haswell chips is most certainly beefed up. The world record moved up almost 300 Mhz on the release of the chip and the crown moved from AMD platforms to Intel.
