Here's something to motivate you. It's not much right now, the regulation on CPU4 is borked on this board. I'll have to wait for my other board to come back and try for some better numbers. On when that will be, only the SuperMicro gods can tell.

Default Micro/Tiny XP for benching

It has been stated that XP is the fastest OS for many benches. Most of the places I've looked to get it from want to give you a downloader and/or mucho crapware. Anyone know of a good way to get it. I have a legal copy of XP that I could load up and strip down myself. I just thought it might be faster and easier to install the pre-stripped version.

Apologies in advance if this is one of those Don't Ask questions.

Any and all help appreciated.

Looks like great minds think alike, since I think I have ordered the same board. Although it looks like NCIX is doing the usual, we have it listed as "In Stock" but that really means we would LIKE it to be in stock so we can fill your order. Please be patient while we search for more from our suppliers

Yeah, in stock would be nice:) Shows >10 in their BC warehouse, so I'm hopeful. Should have it tomorrow afternoon

I ordered the Z87X-OC NCIX.com - Canada's Premier Computer Store - Online PC Discount Store, Buy Computer Accessories.

Not a lot of real oc'ing guides up yet it seems, I found this one interesting.

Yep, thats the one I got too, seems the best value, although I really wonder why its big brother the OC-Force is $200 more?

If your looking for a very, very, very biased overview of the board, go here If you can get around the fanboi of it, I did find the overview of features helpful.
