Heh...I got lucky and received a really good stepping (it's basically the lot# and can only be read by taking off the cpu cooler).

Most 3700s will hit 2800 without much work.

Your settings are driving me nuts....... how did the ht get so low, and why is there now a divider on your mem (cpu/14)?

HT should be kept between 800 &1000, and there's no reason for your mem to be on a divider right now, it should be fine up to 250.

I'm guessing that your board is automatically adjusting these things down.

You're probably going to have to find the manual settings to stop it from doing that.

Did you ever figure out the way the settings were working on your mobo?

(I see you finally got the mem up where it belongs.... :) ).

I'm transfering my S939 gear over to my young lad this weekend..... (Somebody's getting a C2D for his birthday.... :) ).

sweet to hear that wilson.. im getting a Opty 165 :)

gonna plan to oc to 2.8, 2.9... if i can break the barrier.. maybe 3ghz

but like i still dont understand the ram part and how to get 1:1 ratio.. im still at cpu : 10 dunno.. it might be 1:1 but still n00b at this point :P

i got the board up to 325htt... so if the opty loves it.. 325x9 will be :)

You don't need to worry about 1:1 with S939.

What you're at right now is perfect... It'd be pretty hard to squeeze more bandwidth out of that mem.

Let us know when you get your opty in and we'll see what we can do... :)
