Max SAFE Voltage and Temps for 3570K?

What are the max safe voltages and temps for a 3570K?

I own two 3770k, I run one with 1.28v at 4.8Ghz. Raising vcore to try for a higher clock is pointless on this chip because no matter what I find instability even if temps are acceptable. The other 3770k will do 4.6Ghz with 1.3v. Same story as the first chip if I try to go higher. Temps are mid 70C for the chip at 4.8 and low to mid 80C for the other chip at 4.6.

Personally I would have no issues with temps <90C and that temps will most likey determine your max vcore.

Totally agree.

You will hit the max safe temp way before you hit the vcore ceiling. Keep it under 80-85 when stressing, that being my own personal max (yours may be higher/lower,).

I've benched my 2600k at 1.56v 5.2gh fully stable.

The only way to find the max safe voltage is to go over it.

Yeah... if you are reall yworried, buy the tuner warranty from intel. Burn one chip out, then never go that high with the new chip :P

Problem with that is already shown above.. 1 chip will do 4.8 @ 1.28? and the other was 4.6@ 1.3

Just keep notching it up m8 and find your own limits.

I put it to 4.7Ghz, 1.35v. It's a little on the conservative side, I suppose, but since I fold with it, I didn't want to heat it too much. It's stable at about 70C currently.

I'd bump till I see instability and then back it off a couple of notches for 24/7 use (without going too hot, bout 80 for my liking)

But then 4.7 may be enough, depends on your own preference.

I may yet fiddle with it. If I can get higher without going too much hotter, then I'll be happy. I know that right now, with that voltage, it's just on the stable side of unstable.
